Going strong!

Thanks to everyone who've already checked out the Little Free Library or who've helped spread the word. We've already exchanged through dozens of books, and it's been such a blessing to meet so many of our neighbors, too! Today we received a terrific donation of mixed interest children, young reader and YA books, with a few general fiction thrown into the mix. We are so pleased to be able to offer this book exchange to our neighborhood and community. It's been amazing watching kids check the box daily for new books, and we seem to have become popular with the dog walking crowd, too. Again, thank you all for your interest in our humble Little Free Library, and please remember sharing is caring!

The lfl is now circulating!

It's been a pretty exciting couple of days! We've had the opportunity to chat with lots of neighbors and we've seen many books leave the library, and quite a few exchanged in their places! This morning we've put out 10 new books, so if you're in the neighborhood, come and check us out!

We're open for business!

The library is installed, the shelves are filled, the library is on the map and registered with Little Free Library, so we are now open!

Come on over, check it out and borrow a book!

There are a variety of kid's, young adult, and general fiction books, so there's something for everyone!

Painting continued...

The second coat is on! The door is painted, and now we just wait for it to dry so we can install the plexiglass window.

For years I have wanted to bring a Little Free Library to my community, and now it's finally about to happen! It is built, we've put the first coats of paint on it, and now all that remains is for the official registration plate to arrive in order to get it on the LFL map, install it, and go live!

Once it goes live, we're open for business, and by business, we mean come and borrow a book whenever it's convenient for you! We get a lot of pedestrian traffic in front of our house, from fitness walkers and joggers, to folks out walking their pets, people strolling babies, parents & guardians picking up kids from the elementary school, and those simply out enjoying a nice walk about the neighborhood. Hopefully people will come to love the LFL as much as we love it.
